Tokyo University of the Arts Japanese Painting Exhibition
This event has ended.
This is an exhibition of research presentations by the faculty and students of Nihonga at the Tokyo University of the Arts. It is also a seminar in which students take the initiative in gaining experience in exhibition planning and management.
This year, the exhibition invites Masahiro Imamura, Professor of Hiroshima City University Faculty of Art, as the guest artist. Exhibiting together will provide an opportunity for each exhibitor to consider his or her own work from a new perspective, and for everyone to learn about the diversifying methods of expression in Japanese painting.
In addition, there will be an exhibition of work on the theme of “connection” in a small room in the exhibition hall. By focusing on “indigo” as the main color, the exhibition will try to create a space that surrounds the works.
