Where did the universal idea of “young girls” come from? She is no longer a child, but an incompatible being, unable to become an adult. It wasn’t so long ago that the fragile existence of the young girl, which is dangerously balanced in a temporary moratorium, became an image of a forbidden symbol that must not be touched.

The “young girl” as an icon has been created by various social factors, as a symbol of the formless sacred in literature and artistic expression, and as an object of consumption in the 21st century.

This exhibition is a place to reaffirm the commonality that can be seen in the ambiguity of each artist’s image of the “young girl” as it emerges. How does a girl continue to be a “young girl” in the midst of the changing times and society? This exhibition presents the two-dimensional and three-dimensional expressions of more than 30 artists.
