The cutting-edge, Kansai-based painter Yuka Yoshida is an artist to watch for. Her magenta-based works depicting daily life in fictional places have an overload of information, yet there is an order within the seeming chaos. Their characters tend to do as they please while maintaining a sense of distance and balance – this could be thought of as the essence of human society since ancient times through today.
