In this special exhibition, visitors will be able to experience the superb skills of carpenters, painters, and artisans from all walks of life in the details of the “100-step staircase” and get a closer look at the “beauty of architecture”.

In the first half of the exhibition, which runs until Sunday, May 23, papercraft works by skilled contemporary artists will be on display.

In the second half of the exhibition, from June 1 (Tuesday) to June 25 (Friday), there will be a display of superbly crafted works by traditional craftspeople, including lacquerware and kumiko-zaiku, so that visitors can enjoy the contrast between the superb skills of old and new artists.
