Asian Urban Clairvoyance

Publicis Wall Gallery

poster for Asian Urban Clairvoyance

This event has ended.

For the seventh “PUBLICIS WALL GALLERY” we are exhibiting works by Takayuki Imaizumi, an artist for imaginary maps (a.k.a. “Chirijin or A man of geography”) and Masaya Sammonji, a designer of real cities. The two artists, who have been looking at cities from both imaginary and real approaches, started “City Clairvoyance.”
With the theme of Asian cities, this time’s exhibition pursues the characteristics and reality of the regions by drawing illustrations of landscapes that do not exist but are typical to them. The works focus on casual townscapes that we are not usually aware of. It’s been a while since we haven’t been able to travel abroad due to the pandemic, but the works will bring us discoveries and POVs as if we’re actually exploring Asian cities. I hope you will have a chance to visit the exhibition.
