April talks

In April, we will be participating in 2 talks, one as part of the Double Cast event held at the Tokyo Wonder Site Hongo event space and one as part of the Art Fair Tokyo 2007.<br /> Please come &#038; participate in the discussions!

In April, we will be participating in two talks, one as part of the Double Cast event held at the Tokyo Wonder Site Hongo event space and one as part of the Art Fair Tokyo 2007.

April 8th, Sunday 17:00-19:00 at Tokyo Wonder Site, Hongo
Guests: Uleshka (PingMag, Editor in Chief) + Olivier Thereaux, Kosuke Fujitaka, Paul Baron (Tokyo Art Beat, Co-founders) + Mike Kubeck (SuperDeluxe, Executive Producer)
The talks have invited guests who disseminate bilingual information about culture in Tokyo to think and talk about the potential in the city’s future (With Japanese/English interpreter).
Yukihiro Taguchi’s farewell party will be hosted after the talk (Free of charge).

Art Web Meeting 01: representatives of major art websites in Japan will meet and deliberate about the potential of websites and their role in the art scene. Issues covered will include the necessity of common media in the East Asian region; art media as industry; websites as tools for communication; the importance of disseminating of information as part of cultural programs; and propositions for a proactive approach to museum websites.

Paul Baron

Paul Baron

Born in 1977 in Paris. After graduating in 2002 from the London College of Communication, he moved to Tokyo to taste Japan's powerful visual culture. He worked for 3 years at Honda R&amp;D as an interaction designer and in 2004 launched Tokyo Art Beat with Olivier and Kosuke.
