In the “wa” (Japanese) Ippodo Salon, you will find pottery, woodwork, dyeing, weaving, embroidery, painting, and coloring created by the Japanese artists and craftspeople. The interior of the salon, designed by interior designer Shigeru Uchida, has a large red sofa, a tea room, and soft lighting and Japanese paper in the supporting roles. There is a black lacquered zelkova stand by Toru Matsuzaki displaying dignified and finely crafted works.
