This event has ended.

This is Yurie Nagashima's first major exhibition in four years. Approximately thirty pieces taken during this period will be on display. Ranging from landscapes to still objects, the series as a whole refer us to a background story.
"Candy Horror" symbolizes the moment of terror which lies hidden within our everyday lives. Whether with family or society as a whole, our interpersonal relationships consist of incessant measurements of our ‘distance’ with others. However, when that distance is altered by some reason or another, it can have catastrophic ramifications for our identity. Yurie Nagashima fixes her incisive gaze upon this precarious aspect of life in her artistic endeavors.
