Nobuyuki Ebihara Exhibition "Micro Cosmos"
This event has ended.
At Gallery Honjoh
Media: Drawing
For this exhibition, Nobuyuki Ebihara chose tree trunks, leaves and fields of clovers as his motif. He draws his inspiration from arrays found in nature. First, he draws a sketch of the object using pencils. Next, he places see-through Japanese paper on top of it, and then goes over the lines with sumi ink. The artist once mentioned that his work was like machines and industrial design: a simple interface over complex mechanisms.
