At Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum
Media: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Crafts
Plants and flowers make us reassess beauty, and have been a theme of aesthetics for a long time. This exhibition will display works in pursuit of artistic beauty, academic accuracy and cultulral appreciation of ikebana. The drawings, photographs, and crafts focus on how flora has been artistically expressed in Japan.
During this exhibition period, cultivated "Henka Asagao", or "Changing Morning Glory"
can be enjoyed in the botanical gardens of the museum.
