Shigeru Tamura is famous for his dreamy artworks for films and children's books. He has received many awards across the world. Although many people do not know his name, his imagery is familiar to almost everyone and has become a part of daily life. A wide range of the public loves his pure style, unaffected by trends.
On view are his films and original illustrations for children's books, as well as sketches and notes. The extensive contents of the exhibition allow the viewer to fully enjoy Tamura's various artworks made with different mediums such as watercolors, color pencils, cloth and computer graphics.
Museum opens till 21:00 on August 5, 6 and 7.
