"Cover", the latest series by photographer Eiji Ina, features urban buildings undergoing renovation. Like the works of Christo, these structures are wrapped in sheets, panels, and scaffolding. "Cover"ed and stripped of all function, Ina's material reveal their bare form, making meaningless the superficial discourse circling around the metropolis. The forms Ina extracts from the urban landscape reminds each of its dwellers that they all live their existence in a world of geometrical patterns. Ina's intention, also under "Cover", is not to be underestimated.
