During the late 19th, early 20th century, color printing technologies were evolving rapidly and created fascinating results for the times. Illustrated books saw the light of day in those years and people were in love with this new medium that was suddenly adding pictures and fantasy to discovery and travel news.
This exhibition showcases a collection of those illustrations, and shares with you the atmosphere and trends of this fantastic era of newly diversified society and lifestyles.
About 300 illustrations will be on display. This is a unique and precious oppotunity to introduce you the hidden world of illustrated books.
