Established in 1920, The Art Directors Club, aka the New York ADC, took on a global leading role in the world of advertisement. Their Annual Awards Exhibition has become an event of note in the design and advertisement world. For the 84th edition, out of over 10,000 submissions from 47 countries, 19 Gold and 39 Silver winners were selected. The picture book "Brooch" by Watanabe Yoshie and Uchida Yayako and the Adidas billboard advertisement by the TWBA Japan agency were both awarded Gold. Iyama Koji's "Sugahara glass", who won the JAGDA newcomer prize last year, was awarded Silver.
