Two years ago, American painter Dzine held a hugely successful solo exhibition in Japan where all of his works were sold out in Tokyo and Osaka, despite being virtually unknown to the Japanese audience. Since then, he has held solo exhibitions or participated in projects in Paris, Saint Louis, Newcastle, Puerto Rico and Amsterdam.
For this exhibition, Dzine plans to create installations to the theme of the turntable, collaborating with music producer Hiroshi Fujisawa, who will be providing the music. Dzine is heavily involved in the music scene: he has commissioning drawings for Eric Clapton's guitar and collaborates with top-class DJs around the world.
