This exhibition showcases Toru Kamiya's new sketches of people and landscapes drawn in delicate outlines, giving a sense of depth and translucency. The two types of works, using completely different techniques, are displayed side by side.
Toru Kamiya (b.1969) studied in Ireland on a scholarship after graduating with a masters degree in oil painting from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. His fan base has grown steadily since being the center of attention at the Zone Exhibition at Fuchu Art Museum in 2003.
