This is a large in-depth exhibition that explores the ancient Persian culture of 7000 years ago.
Golden treasures that illustrate the glory of the Achaemenid Empire of Persia (B.C. 500 - A.D. 330) are a particular must-see. In its prime, the Empire stretched from Egypt, to India and Central Asia. 200 pieces from the collection at Iran National Museum will also be on display to provide a glimpse of Sassanian Persia (226-651), the treasures of which reached Japan via the Silk Road.
