Over the 20 years since the Shizuoka Prefectural Museum opened its doors, it has been enthusiastically collecting works of art.
"The Passion of a 20 year Collection" is an exhibition of the works at the heart of that collection. In Part I of this show, under the title "Landscape Painting that resonates in the heart - from Fuji to Cézanne and Gauguin", the museum will be putting on display its most prized works of Eastern and Western landscape painting.

Note:On a Public Holiday Monday, the museum is open but closed on the following Tuesday. From May to September the museum closes at 20:00 on Saturdays.
