Geisai is an art festival that aims to open a dialogue with the art world. At the same time, it is also meant to be a place to discover artists and help them debut as professionals, as well as an upbeat flea market for displaying and selling art, and a meeting place for anybody related to art.

The 10th biannual GEISAI Festival is being held on the 17th September. Lena Oishi talked to GEISAI president and internationally renowned artist Takashi Murakami about his 5th year on the GEISAI wagon.
今回で10回目となるGEISAIに足を運んだのははじめてのことである。会場はさまざまなスタイルで自身の作品を発表しているアーティストたちと、それを楽しむ人たちでいっぱいだった。
明日、9月17日（日）、にTABのスポンサーの一つである"GEISAI"が行われます。GEISAIは"アートの世界に、もっとコミュニケーションを。"というコンセプトにより、アーティストの村上隆さんによってはじめられました。
9月17日、記念すべき10回目のGEISAIが開幕! 今回はGEISAI主催者であり、インターナショナルな活動を精力的に続けるアーティスト、村上隆さんに、GEISAI 5年目の心境を語ってもらいました。
