The BAS (Bunkamura Art Show) was started under the objective of encouraging and presenting the next generation of young artists. After the first show in 2004 "Landing" and 2005's "Jinko-Rakuen (Artificial Paradise)", the show has reached its third edition. This year's theme has been put aside in order to give greater freedom to the individuality of the 4 artists. BAS seeks to involve the audience in the re-evaluation of and the search for new possibilities for contemporary art.
