In the 12th Century, the center of society shifted from nobles to samurais. This is the so-called 'Genpei Period', and many heroes appeared and disappeared throughout this time. This exhibition will introduce 79 artworks based on various stories featuring the lives of men and women during this period, such as 'Heike Story' and 'Genpei Seisuiki'.
