This project calls for 'love messages' - mobile phone text messages written under the theme of 'love of humanity, love of family, love between men and women, love of nature' - as a way of exploring the contemporary communication method, 'thumb communication'.

The exhibition features an LED display 'Thumb Talkin Hoop' which will show the collected messages, and will also include special live shows by famous artists such as 'Tomato' and DJ Kentaro. Wrist-bands and T-shirts with love-messages by artists, writers and the public will be on sale. All proceeds (excluding production/management fees) will go to UNICEF, to improve the education etc of children all over the world. *Messages can be sent via http://talkin.jp until December 25th.

An unusual collaboration between internationally renown artists 'Tomato' and DJ Kentaro will perform at the special final event 'Thumb Talkin' Special Live'. Under the theme 'communication knows no bounds', world-leading graphic artist 'Tomato' will create visual displays with everyone's love messages live, to DJ Kentaro's beats.
