This photographic exhibition is the kickoff event for UK-Japan 2008. This artist is known for his unique technique photographing people and buildings as miniatures that leave a brand new impression of daily scenes. In addition to these known works, new works of London scenes and portraits featuring Paul Smith himself will be on display and sale. The artist aims to "feel the disparities of the man-made city," and brings us new discoveries. The exhibition "small planet" was held at Paul Smith 9 Albermale Street shop in London from September 28th to October 12th, 2007 to high acclaim. The show will travel through Paul Smith shops around the world.

こういう手法でシリーズ化しておきながら、
あるとき本当に模型を撮ったりしたら、
もうみんなわけがわからなくなって、
結構よくない?と思いました。

Following too closely in Marc Rader's footprints- from his book that was all around Tokyo a few years ago in 1999, this Ape has mimicked Mark to a Tee. Now at the bookstores Marc Rader has a book showing more of his decorative trick photography too (both ideas are as small as the "vision" they present the world as being). Marc Rader and Naoki Hanjo just uses the simple Schiemflug effect to a predictable effect. Perhaps if he learned how to actually use the 4x5 camera and read a book occasionally he would graduate from copying others' cliches. He wont last very long, since PLAGIARISM is getting easier to spot.
Naoki is a simple case of STEALING some one else's ideas and presenting them as his own. It is shameful..
