The "Asian Digital Art Awards," an international competition aimed at making Asian digital art and design more widely known in the world, are given out each year in Fukuoka, Japan. Around 1000 works are submitted to the competition each year.

This is the first exhibition of winning works from the competition to be held in Tokyo. In addition, on September 29th, the Design Hub's International Design Liaison Center will hold a symposium on trends in Asian digital art.

The artists who have submitted work to the competition don't stop at using simple CG software, but develop experimental algorithms to create deeply artistic works.
