isnt this just old images re-printed and charging $350,000?
where is the interest in seeing 10 year old images from "closed" editions. seems he just wants money too bad. Cold he not at least gone and photographed 4 more theaters? is that oo much to ask for that kind of cash? or is he just printing $$$$$$$$$$$$
Kind of reminds me of the Dollar lama.

杉本博司氏は既に評価の定まった大御所作家といえ、今回ギャラリー小柳で展示されているのはいずれも代表作なのだから、まぁよくて当たり前といってしまえばそれまでだ。しかし、個人的にはオリジナル作品の大きさやインスタレーションの仕掛けなどから、杉本氏の視程が「いわゆる写真の領域」を大きく超えていることを「体感」する内容だったと思う。問題は、それが「一回性の再現不能なアウラ」に回収されてしまうものなのか、あるいは「それでもなお複製可能な存在」と見なしうるものなのかだが、自分のような浅学無頼の徒にはわかるはずも無いのだろう（インスタレーションを構成している物質的存在に、その答えは隠されているような気がする）。
