At Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art

Printmaking artist from Kofu City, Ryuta Endo teaches at Musashino Art University. He mainly works in lithograph, taking "body" themes. In his recent figurative works, the images are extremely abstracted to the point where original motifs are lost. Bodily structure is removed and internal energy, blood, and flesh are visualized in his works. He also creates oil paintings exploring complex and detailed images. This exhibition features 8 works including his oil paintings.
