This event has ended.

"Tokyo Fiber" is an exhibition of Japan fibers that evoke fashion breakthroughs. Fiber technology more closely attuned to human sensibilities creates a new environment, for both people and apparel. The theme of this first exhibition is "senseware". The use of "ware" instead of "wear" is deliberate, suggesting new forms of interactions between cloth, and clothing and perceptions of the body. Showcasing a future of intelligent fibers, this exhibition demonstrates the total creative power of Japan through the works of architects and designers and companies like Sony and Honda.

Design Events in April, REVIEW

Pretty cool installations. 15 in total, detailed with English captions next to the works and in the free brochure.
I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them made it to the next Japan Media Arts Festival.
