At Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography
Media: Installation, Film, Video installation, Digital
This is a collaborative exhibition between contemporary literary authors and media artists that focuses on how pure literature and the visual and media arts interface. Works will visualize literary worlds that are usually left up to the reader's imagination.
The exhibition comprises three parts: listening to and looking at text, reproduction of literary landscapes and homage to classical works. There will be related events such as special talks and publications featuring new projects by the participating novelists and artists with the cooperation of Kodansha publication "Gunzou" and NHK Enterprises.
This is an attempt to explore and break ground in new domains and expressive possibilities through the coexistence and competing of literature and visual media.

何故、写真美術館でこのような企画展なのかはわからないけど、
気軽に楽しめる、ちょっと遊べる、小さな展覧会です。
印象に残ったもの：
森野和馬の「谷崎リズム」
テキストを追うのだけど全然内容が頭に入らず、
その不思議で楽しいリズムに
サーカスの動物かなにかが出てきそうで、
なんとなく、むふふ、と、面白い部屋になっていました。
他に、ICCのオープン・スペース2007と似たような雰囲気の作品がいくつかあり......

穂村弘さんの短歌が写真美術館で読める事の意外性。
文学とARTのコラボは、これからもっとなされるべきだと思いました。
In spite of the theme and the big yellow warning at the ticket booth shooing you away with a bold "no english explanation", this is a very enjoyable and accessible exhibition for those who do not read much japanese. There are english explanations, in a leaflet distributed at the entrance. Go figure…
That said, it might be disappointing to avid Tokyo Art Beatniks and fans of the NTT ICC, as many of the exhibits will be more than familiar.
舞城王太郎＋dividual「タイプトレース道：舞城王太郎」を目当てに行きました。作家の文章作成のプロセスを見るのは、想像以上に興味深いことでした。
その他の作品は面白い、文字にあらたな重さを与えてみるという点では面白いのですが、いかんせん空間を自由にひらひらする文章を理解しながら身体運動をするというのは自分には難しかったようです。
