TWS Emerging takes the 100 of the 1000 participants at the Tokyo Wonder Wall exhibition, and the 12 prizewinners from among them as the starting point for this exhibition. These prizewinners are given the opportunity to exhibit at TWS Hongo and also hold a series of workshops and events. Tokyo Wonder Site also supports them with taking part in foreign artist in residency programs.
This year, TWS Emerging is holding exhibitions of 23 of these young artists, together with the exhibition of works from the Satoshi Okada collection and the "Magical Museum Tour" exhibition. For this first exhibition in the series, works by Tomoko Nagai and Takumi Sanuki are on display.
