"Messages from the War Dead" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts
Media: Prints
Artist Yoshito Takeda believes that if Japan were ever to head into war again, the people who would be saddest about it would be the many Japanese who died during the Pacific War. The works on display in this exhibition, four of which were exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum to great critical acclaim in Ueno earlier this year, explore what the war dead might have to say to us about war.
