"Gazing at the Foundation of Art Part 4" Talk Event
This event has ended.
At Gallery Senkukan
Media: Art Talk
This is the fourth event of the talk series "Gazing at the Foundation of Art". This time, the regular moderator of the talk series Mamoru Fujieda is speaking. His talent as a moderator must have something to do with his activity in music. Like in his composition series of "plant patterns", he makes use of new technologies in his music and yet is able to create something so mesmerizing and beautifully composed.
Sound exists in the repeating and echoing stream of noise. He is curious about how human perceives a piece of information out of the chaotic noise. Also, he is conscious of nature and the development of music in relation to our sense of hearing. Using the book "Archeology of Sound - The Adventure in the World History of Music" as a guide, he investigates the concept of music. Also, this talk event is the pre-event of his live performace at Jiyu Gakuen Myonichikan.
