This artist's delicate works embody existence and absence, and a "ma" (in between space) where a kind of uncertainty leads the way. She depicts her life abroad as a way to deepen her understanding of "home" and home-like space, all the while knowing that these are only temporary locations that we don't even pay much attention to most of the time. Her rented home of one and a half years in London alludes to her that these living spaces hide traces of others' lives. People attempt to create homes out of places where they know their stay is finite. So how do we make a place our own, and how do we leave it behind?

This artist's works, such as small houses made of masking tape and complex houses using hair as material, express the time and effort spent in the creation process, but also contain details that hint at how easily our existence can be erased. Many of her works also have organic motifs and use the changing rhythms of nature to express the rush to grow or to root oneself to a certain place. The artist explores these questions even further by placing parts of herself in her works in the form of her hair, for example. To inhabit one place temporarily is to have a temporary impact on a place. Perhaps these traces of temporary human existence are not so easy to erase after all, since they can be expressed with a single hair.
