When asked how she takes such pictures in such unusual situations, Ume replies that "I guess people just don't usually have a camera in those situations." This answer relates to the idea of quality coming from quantity: taking many pictures so as to find the perfect one in among them. She carries around her camera all the time, everywhere she goes, so as to sneak into people's private sides, and capture the unseen aspects of our daily lives.

This exhibition consists of photographs of little boys, taken from her entire collection. Her preciseness in capturing the right moment is clearly visible in these inkjet prints.
