This is the 19th exhibition of "The Second Stage at GG" series. The Hitotsubo Exhibition that were started in 1992 with the aim of encouraging young artists has reached its 15th year, and many of the 648 past competitors have become successful in various fields of design. The purpose of the GG series is to follow the activities and successes of some of the past recipients of the Hitotsubo award.
Art Director Kenjiro Sano won the Hitotsubo competition while he was a student at Tama Art University. After graduating he started working for Hakuhodo Design and has been in the spotlight for several simple and yet memorable designs for companies like Edo Wonderland in Nikko, TBS, and KDDI. Sketches for past and uncompleted projects, memos, presentation images will be on display in this exhibition. Viewers will be able to follow the process of logo and character creation from beginning to end.
