Media: Painting, Sculpture, Art Party

The title of this exhibition "Lovebud" comes from the last scene of Orson Wells' classic "Citizen Kane," where Kane is holding a rosebud in his fist as he dies. The artist calls himself "a traveler in art" because he pursues self-exploration through his creative activities. In his work, he attempts to express the best (or worst) moments in his experience while traveling, "as if a traveler photographs buildings and people." The rosebud that left the impression at the most symbolic moment in Kane's life in the film "Citizen Kane" is entitled "Lovebud" by the artist, whose works record the most symbolic moments in his life. Since the latter half of the 1980s, the artist has been active as a sculptor, draftsman and comic author. Recently he has started painting urban scenes as well. In this exhibition, ceramic sculptures and large-scale paintings that have not yet been introduced in Japan will be on display.
