These blue-toned photographs depict "the bluish scenery one sees for just an instant after one removes a blindfold." By replacing a regular palette of colors with bluish hues, even the moment of clarity that captures a scene one is accustomed to seeing when the image is burned onto the film is for a moment transformed into a place that does not exist in reality - a sort of instantaneous Arcadia surfaces.
