In the "32nd National University Printmaking Exhibition" held at the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts from December 1st to 16th in 2007, works by 280 students from 62 art universities all over Japan were exhibited. Then 33 students, whose works garnered more votes from jury than others, won prizes. These winners were recognized not only for their techniques earned at their respective schools but for their exquisite artistic expressions in this particular medium; prints. In this 2nd edition of the exhibition which started last year at
Bumpodo Gallery, works by 30 prize winners will be on view, introducing up-and-coming young artists' fresh creativity.
