This exhibition is part of a series of events held to mark the Russian Culture Festival 2008 in Japan, introducing the work of young artists based in Russia.
Artist Ekaterina Smirnova spent time in Japan as a child. Because travel was a natural part of her life, it has become an important theme in her work, as in the "Silk Road" series and "Egypt Chronicles."
This exhibition features 8 works with Japanese motifs.
