For Eric, the camera is a weapon for the attainment of world knowledge, and photography is meant for the waging of this combat. This powerful weapon has demolished his own self-conscious prejudices and allowed him to tackle China head on.
During vacations and while on the move, the artist often finds himself feeling as if he is in search of a home that he will someday arrive at in the distant future. The image of that ultimate home, while faint and somewhat abstract, is nonetheless concealed in the deepest recesses of the his mind.
Still, Eric's travels continue, as do his chance meetings.
