Human beings have long used trees as material to build architecture. The action of cutting down trees is difficult without the help of tools. Work efficiency is increased by adding grips to stone implements - the original predecessors of knives and other bladed tools - enhancing and improving lives, and making possible the construction of homes. This exhibition shows visitors the origins of axes and hatchets as a stone age tool, in its various guises and forms.

Events and symposiums are also scheduled. See website for details.
