Kazushige Higuchi traveled throughout Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Bangladesh, India, and Japan, looking for spiritual existences in Asia. The notion of modernity is not within his vision.
Stepping into the hidden territories of Asian villages and towns, Higuchi looks into the lives of people. (comment by the exhibition curator Akihiko Okada)
