Yamamura is a lauded artist working in the modern yoga (Western-style) painting tradition. He is a recipient of the Showakai Award known for his felicitous use of color and brushstroke, in a range of works from female nudes to still life and European landscapes. This exhibition features paintings of aerial views of Mont Saint Michel in northern France, as well as towns like Honfleur, Venice and Etretat.
