Azumatei uses photographs as a base to transform real scenery into imaginary landscapes through a layering process, while Kadoi reveals the occult mysteries of the mount of gravel. Sakaguchi shows us naked profiles of cities from a different dimension, while Hirano recomposes scenery cobbled together from fragmented colors and disassembled parts. What is intriguing with these artists is not only the landscape itself they create, but the path and approach they elected to take in order to arrive there.
