This progressive young artist's works have a unique minimalist style inspired from electronic music. This is her first exhibition since graduating art university, and works created in the last year will be on display. She has incorporated the Nihon-ga technique of applying mineral pigment to "Washi" rice paper with hide glue to create the "Surface" series. The works depict water surfaces with reflected images of the sky, light, people or high-rise buildings.
Veteran artist Takayuki Shiraishi's sound installation will accompany the artist's exhibition.
