Statues, paintings, and other works will be brought from the Yakushi-ji Temple in Nara for this special commemorative exhibition. This temple is the headquarters of the Hosso School of Buddhism, and this year marks 1300 years since the one-time national capital Heijo-kyo was established in Nara.

Open until 18:00 Weekends and Holidays and until 20:00 Fridays and March 25th (Tues) - April 6th (Sun). Closed May 7th (Wed).

Fee

Adults ¥1500, University Students ¥1200, High School Students ¥900. Junior High School Students and Below, Handicapped Visitors and One Helper Free.

Note:Closing hour might changed depending on season. When the Monday is a Public Holiday the gallery is open on the Monday but closed on the following Tuesday.
