Born in 1946, Soki is a Balinese artist and is known as Pak Soki (meaning Mr. Soki in Indonesian language). Inspired by the works of Dutch painter Arie Smit, he began his career as an artist in 1960.
Soki's finely detailed paintings depict everyday activities, customs and rich nature of Bali. The use of warm colors and portrayals of relaxed denizens are notable characteristics of his work.
Over 20 works are on view.
