Experienced grant-making foundation officers will teach the know-how of effective grant application for Japanese artists thinking of applying for US based grants. Information on both individual and institutional grants will be presented. Participants have the option to submit a simulation grant to be evaluated by the lecturers on the day of the workshop.

Admission: ¥6000, IHJ Members & Students ¥5000 yen
Language: Mainly Japanese (with some lectures in English)
Lecturers: Eric Gangloff (Japan-US Friendship Commission),　Pamela Fields (Assistant Executive Director, US-CULCON), Junko Chano (The Sasakawa Peace Foundation) and others.

・ Simulation grant-writing evaluation

Participants should have basic writing skills in English. A simulation grant application will be sent to all participants. Please fill it out and bring it to the workshop for evaluation.
