Many artists deal with the prospect of "whiteness" when they set out to create work on the wall of a gallery, canvas or sheet of paper. Whiteness can also be understood as a state of emptiness, or a space onto which one can graft one's imagination freely. What does "white" mean for artists? Such was the simple starting point for this exhibition by five Japanese and European artists.
