Okada won Ihei Kimura Photography Prize for his photo book "I am" launched last year.

This is his first solo exhibition since his last show a year and a half ago, held at Beams Japan to showcase selected photos from among his prize-winning works. Prior to the launch of his new photo book "ataraxia" (Seigensha Art Publishing) at the end of December, this exhibition introduces a number of new works that are being exhibited for the first time.

Created through a collaboration with the poet Emi Itsuno, Okada breaks new ground with this world of light and prayers.
