Ryoji Ikeda
Ryoji Ikeda is one of the Japan's foremost electronic musicians and a world renowned composer and artist. His highly refined works and performances confront tirelessly the boundaries between technology and human perception, spanning not only the field of music, but also architecture, video and dance.

The world experienced through human perception is understood as a combination of "data" made up of components like sine waves and pixels. By recombining these elements in new configurations, a completely different experience of the world can be created. Ikeda's films, videos and sound works delineate this mass of invisible data by tackling the relationships that exist between sound and light.

This solo exhibition focuses on a large scale yet meticulously composed video installation, and features works that attempt to explore new realms of human perception.
